Our client, a leading energy and infrastructure project management firm, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Project Start-up department supporting the Commissioning and Start-up (CSU) Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Technical Writer Location: Houston, TX 77027 Pay Range: $50.00-65.00 per hour What's the Job?

  • Develop commissioning and start-up procedures, O&M manuals, training materials, and modules for LNG projects
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineering, construction, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information
  • Write and edit technical documents to meet project specifications and customer standards
  • Conduct research and analyze data to ensure clear and logical presentation of information
  • Review and copyedit content created by other team members
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing
  • 8+ years of experience writing technical documents, including organization and collaboration with internal and external personnel
  • Familiarity with ANSI/NETA Standards, NFPA 70 E, IEC, ISA, and NFPA 59A standards
  • Strong understanding of technical procedures and document development
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow project specifications
