Technician - ForMotion : Job Details

This position is responsible for the fabrication, service and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices.Essential Functions:

• Fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist.
• Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability. Complete work orders as assigned.
• Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab.
• Maintain and clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• One to three years of experience in an industrial setting
• Experience working in a machine shop, construction or auto repair preferred
• Able to work overtime

Physical Demands:The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull/push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Work Environment:This job operates in a lab environment. This role routinely uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, compressed air and measuring devices.Benefits we offer:
