Key Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:
Production Line & Equipment Maintenance:- Performance Metric(s): Maintain production lines and equipment with a goal of achieving minimal downtime per month due to equipment failure.
Work Order Development & Prioritization:- Performance Metric(s): Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision, and Line Leads to develop and prioritize any work orders per shift, ensuring that work orders are completed on time.
Work Order Completion:- Performance Metric(s): Complete work order requests accurately as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Operators, maintaining a work order completion rate of 85% on time.
Workplace Organization (6S) & Production Efficiency (TPM):- Performance Metric(s): Actively contribute to 6S and TPM programs, achieving an adherence rate of 80% to the standards and reducing inefficiencies by 25% over a given time period.
Operator Training & Support:- Performance Metric(s): Assist, coach, and train operators in performing daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks, leading to a reduction of maintenance-related issues on the floor.
Preventative Maintenance Process Support:- Performance Metric(s): Support the preventative maintenance process on the shift, aiming for reduction in unplanned downtime caused by failure to perform preventative maintenance tasks.
Line Commissioning Assistance:- Performance Metric(s): Contribute to the successful commissioning of production lines after maintenance or process events, aiming for minimal adjustments required post-commissioning.
Plant Projects Participation:- Performance Metric(s): Assist with plant projects as available, contributing to an overall improvement in plant efficiency (e.g., reduced downtime, faster production rates).
Team Value & Collaboration:- Performance Metric(s): Operate with a focus on teamwork, maintaining a positive contribution to team goals on collaborative tasks and projects.
Additional Duties as Assigned:- Performance Metric(s): Successfully complete any additional tasks assigned by supervision/management within the required time frame, maintaining a task completion rate of 80%.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven experience working with electrical, electronic, motor controller drives, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting systems to minimize downtime and resolve issues swiftly, with a target of 15% reduction in troubleshooting time.
- Manufacturing Background:
- Strong experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, demonstrating the ability to keep up with high-demand production schedules.
- PLC Logic knowledge is a plus.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, aiming to resolve issues independently without escalation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Mathematical Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to apply them to maintenance tasks and troubleshooting effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills & Communication:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.

- Must be self-directed, motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment, with the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and maneuver large, cumbersome equipment.
- Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Must be able to work in environments where temperatures may vary and stand for extended periods.
- Must successfully pass a physical abilities test to confirm capability to perform work-related tasks.
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Advanced education or related certifications are a plus.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Completion of a two-year Maintenance Certification course is a plus.
- Stick and wire welding experience with structural welding certification is a plus.
- Forklift experience required, with the ability to complete Return Polymers Forklift Certification program.
