Duties
1. Perform quality checks on finished goods
2. Record and report the results of quality checks performed
3. Assist machine operators in fixing quality issues
4. Aid in the collection, sorting, and storage of bag samples
5. Aid in training new employees on quality standards and quality checking procedures
6. Assists the QA Manager in activities meant to improve and maintain the facility's SQF program
7. Assist QA manager in improving and maintaining the quality program
8. Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Abilities
1. Has a strong understanding of quality standards with finished goods made at ProAmpac Mobile
2. Reads, understands and follows all rules, regulations and work instructions
3. Has basic understanding of bag making process and steps required to correct quality defects
4. Has beginner level abilities when it comes to computer usage and data entry
5. Rotating shifts is a requirement.
6. Arrives at the workplace before the shift begins, day in and day out
7. Works scheduled overtime (weekdays and/or weekends)
8. Lifts up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
9. Communicates and cooperates with others as a team member
Compensation is based on experience.
