This role is needed to support the production of film material. To succeed, you will need to provide process, materials, and/or equipment engineering technical expertise to maintain production performance and improve process capability. In this role you will be a part of a team that works to upgrade processes by implementing modifications ranging from incremental daily improvements to major technology changes. You will provide technical support for process safety, improved yield, capacity and uptime performance. In addition, you support day to day operations, and assists in safety, quality, and environmental incident investigations. Ultimately you will serve as a first responder to assist with plant technical issues when trouble shooting process or equipment issues are required.Job responsibilities:- Solves operating problems with process systems, including an extruder, heat exchangers, oven and tenter chain, pumps, pumping systems, and improves the performance of the systems- Provides process, materials, and/or equipment engineering support to manufacturing operations to maintain production performance or restore process capability- Leads improvements in safety, quality, productivity, equipment reliability, and capacity, either through technology, process, and equipment upgrades. - Authors Process Safety Management and Management of Change documentation- Learns the technology and operating processes which they help support and the key variables effecting quality and productivity- Assists Operations and Maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solving- Helps to identify and implement solutions to manufacturing issues related to technology- Leads Manufacturing Technology and productivity related improvements- Participates in, develops basic data, and executes activities related to capital projects (including commissioning, de-commissioning, start-up, shut down)- Understands and conducts cost benefit analysis- Identifies system and equipment improvement opportunities and improves performance of equipment systemsCompensation:- Full benefits package- Relocation
