Summary
DAC International designs and builds lathes, mills and other machinery that create contact lenses. The Technology Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the Engineering, Software Applications and Technical Services resources of the company in the design, development and service of new and existing products, as well as creating and testing product enhancements and product redesigns. Actively develop and implement revenue generating opportunities, working together with all internal and external customers. Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development and relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Ensuring success is met through meeting or exceeding defined goals and objectives and helping to ensure the company delivers best-in-class products and services.

Supervisory ResponsibilityWork Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00AM 5:00PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. The position is on-site/in-person. Remote hybrid work may be available by arrangement but not guaranteed.
Travel
Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or IT related field.
Project management experience (3+years).
Demonstrated experience running revenue generating support and service teams.
Managerial Supervisory experience preferably in an Engineering or manufacturing company.
Experience with motion control systems and machine drawings (CAD). Single point diamond turning experience (highly preferred)
A good understanding of CAD/CAM functionality and application.
Awareness of regulatory and safety rules and regulations.
