This opportunity is with a prestigious Wealth Management Firm seeking to add a Technology Operations Associate. The individual in this role will be responsible for administering core applications—including portfolio accounting, CRM, and reporting systems—to optimize efficiency and usability.
Responsibilities:
Technology Stack Administration:
- Oversee key applications within the firm's technological ecosystem, including portfolio accounting, CRM, data management, and reporting platforms.
- Perform ongoing maintenance tasks, manage user access and permissions, ensure data integrity, and implement periodic updates and improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance platform integration, and leverage advanced features to improve productivity firm-wide.
User Training & Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries, training, and best practices, enabling team members to efficiently adopt new tools and functionalities.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and reference documents to build user confidence and drive system adoption.
IT Overflow & Project Support:
- Provide support to the IT team during high-demand periods, managing day-to-day operational tasks or assisting with infrastructure projects as necessary.
- Contribute to broader technology initiatives, such as system integrations, security enhancements, or hardware upgrades, by offering hands-on support and tactical execution.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay abreast of the latest product updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the firm's technology stack remains current and effective.
- Proactively recommend enhancements, collaborate with stakeholders to refine workflows, and assist in aligning the technology roadmap with the firm's strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, interpret data, and formulate clear solutions.
- Technical Exposure: Familiarity with financial services platforms (e.g., Orion, Black Diamond, Salesforce, eMoney, RedBlack), data analytics tools, and core office productivity suites (e.g., Office 365).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in the finance industry, preferably with at least 1 year in the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, IT Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proactive Learner: A strong desire to explore platform features, adopt new technologies, and continuously enhance technical expertise.
