Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Lineman to join our team. We are hiring for our Kansas City, MO projects, primarily BAU work - including daily reporting on company-issued iPads - and the possibility of outages. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious with previous Lineman experience and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Place and repair telecom lines

Troubleshoot outages and determine the causes

Trim tree branches that interfere with lines.

Respond promptly to call-outs or notifications for service

Report on all work completed, including any concerns, complications that arose, and reasons for delays

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Lineman or in a similar position

Relevant training and/or certification is preferred but not required

Familiarity with equipment such as climbing gear, aerial lifts, and bucket trucks

Understanding of all federal safety regulations and company policies

Ability to read and understand prints

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent time-management skills
