ABOUT THE POSTION:

We are seeking a motivated Telecommunications Specialist to become a key member of our business. The ideal candidate will coordinate and conduct performance measurements on new and advanced telecommunication equipment and techniques.

• Maintains and troubleshoots phone system
• Maintains and troubleshoot video conferencing systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot security cameras
• Work alongside network team to maintain and troubleshoot Wi-Fi
• Project mgmt. assistance for new turn-ups
• Assist in daily Help Desk duties pertaining to above technologies or when assistance is needed

• Requires 10+ year experience installing and commissioning telecom systems
• Experience utilizing SIP technologies for trunk/call paths required
• Experience with Mitel or ShoreTel phone systems desired
• Experience with an ISP or telecommunications company desired
• Knowledge of Central Office infrastructure and installation practices desired
• Network certifications are considered a plus
• Requires good oral and written communication
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Desire to learn and apply what you learn immediately
