Job Description
Answers and routes calls received by the Hospital's main telephone number. Operates the PBX telephone console. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties.
Job Responsibility
* * Answers and routes calls received by the main Hospital telephone number.
* * Provides patient room and visiting hours information assistance to callers.
* * Pages authorized personnel overhead and/or on paging system.
* * Monitors all emergency alarms and dispatches appropriate response teams.
* * Maintains appropriate logs and records.
* * Provides access to telephonic interpreter services for callers with limited English proficiency
* Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
* High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
* Ability to work additional shifts, as needed.
* Gracious manners, pleasant speaking voice, calm demeanor and the ability to work under stress.
