CRITICAL INFORMATION BELOWTemp will cover the region listed in about the facility below. Mansa cannot guarantee the amount of hours offered a week based on prison contracts, but will offer a set weekly income for support in order to have staff when contracts are available.Weekly Guarantee is $4,800 and if traveler is licensed to cover MD a well, the weekly guarantee is BR,000. Weekly guarantee is reduced to BR should the traveler miss scheduled hours. CRITICAL INFORMATION ABOVEThe strategy behind this posting is for Mansa to obtain a true PRN traveler maybe working around another schedule, not needing to work, or nearing retirement. They will get their schedules far in advance to plan around picking up shifts. Mansa is okay paying a premium to secure reliable talent looking to work a handful of shifts a month. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, perform all required diagnostic procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas in order to produce consistent high quality examinations.Examples of Essential Functions:
  • Perform all required procedures through proper positioning and technique, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the resulting diagnostic studies.
  • Screen patient before exam for any contraindications or precautionary measures pertaining to the exam (e.g. pain, claustrophobia, allergies, etc.). Obtain and review the requisition for examination to obtain information such as doctor's order, patient history, and any other special requirements.
  • Thoroughly explain procedure and answer any patient questions in order to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation. Monitor the condition of any patient within the department and assist the radiologist in performing any needed medical attention.
  • Comply with company policy and procedures. Comply with hospital policy, procedures, and emergency plans.
  • Maintain the diagnostic equipment by cleaning, disinfecting, and handling with care. Maintain work area in an orderly manner. Check to ensure emergency equipment is in good working order. Report any problems with equipment to supervisor.
  • Prepare examination for interpretation by the radiologist to include correct identification and processing of films, clinical history, and previous exams for comparison (if available.)
  • Monitor patient during the administration of contrast media, practicing aseptic technique as required. Recognize allergic reactions, and respond in accordance with procedures for emergent patient care.
  • Practice and maintain standard precautions and infection control policy standards.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and patient preparation prior to examination.
  • Assure that each patient receives the highest quality service possible.
  • Conduct examinations with regard to patient's age, condition, or other special needs.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and the company's policies and procedures.
  • Perform other projects as may be requested by US Mobile Imaging, LLC.
  • Requirement description :
    • 2 years CT tech experience - Required
    • ARRT - Required
    • CPR Certification - Required
    • Posses applicable state license - Required
    • Must have CT Tech registry included on ARRT - Required
    • Agency is eligible to support Prison systems
    • Agency understands this position offers a weekly guarantee and cannot guarantee number of hours offered per week.
    • Preferred MD license. Traveler will earn an additional BR00 a week if traveler is able to work in the state of MD.
