A clinically competent professional who works collaboratively with RNs and physicians in the cardiology and radiology angiography suites to provide radiologic assistance for procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures.
- Operates angiographic equipment to obtain and optimize diagnostic imaging.
- Responsible for sterile table set-up for specific angiographic/implant procedures.
- Competent to scrub procedures 1 to 2 of the following specialties: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Interventional Neuro-Radiology.
- Competency is determined by the successful completion of department orientation and contingent on team leader and management approval.
Requirement description :
- At least 2 years Cath Lab experience - REQUIRED
- Experience with scrubbing heart caths, pacemaker insertions, interventional radiology cases - REQUIRED
- COVID vaccination required - NO DECLINATIONS WILL BE APPROVED **Please add vaccination status in the submission notes**
- BLS and ACLS at time of submission - REQUIRED
- 30 minute response time for call - REQUIRED
- Previous Travel - REQUIRED
