A clinically competent professional who works collaboratively with RNs and physicians in the cardiology and radiology angiography suites to provide radiologic assistance for procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures.
• Operates angiographic equipment to obtain and optimize diagnostic imaging.
• Responsible for sterile table set-up for specific angiographic/implant procedures.
• Competent to scrub procedures 1 to 2 of the following specialties: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Interventional Neuro-Radiology.
• Competency is determined by the successful completion of department orientation and contingent on team leader and management approval.

Requirement description :

• At least 2 years Cath Lab experience - REQUIRED
• Experience with scrubbing heart caths, pacemaker insertions, interventional radiology cases - REQUIRED
• COVID vaccination required - NO DECLINATIONS WILL BE APPROVED **Please add vaccination status in the submission notes**
• BLS and ACLS at time of submission - REQUIRED
• 30 minute response time for call - REQUIRED
• Previous Travel - REQUIRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• ARRT
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Illinois

Weekend Requirements : On-call 8-10 days per month, includes 4 weekend days (F, Sa, or Su)- REQUIRED ON CALL FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT 11/23-11/26
