Job DetailsJob LocationDanbury - Danbury, CTSalary Range$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 SalaryDescriptionGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:As a Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to support our business operations. This position requires a strong background in financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and experience with MS Query. What We Offer:

  • Remote-Hybrid: Must be located in Fairfield County area ( Must be able to come into the office to train)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Identify key financial metrics and trends to support strategic decision-making..
  • Data Management: Utilize MS Query to extract and manipulate data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial analyses.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and provide insights into variances.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and reporting methods. Streamline data collection and analysis to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance team members and other departments to gather data, understand business needs, and provide financial insights.
QualificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Analyst or in a similar role with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros). Experience with MS Query or similar data extraction tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
