Categories: Administrative/Office SupportThe Office of the Provost is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Provost and serve as a backup to the Executive Assistant. This temporary role requires efficiency, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple priorities, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, and demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.Duties
- Perform regular financial-related administrative tasks such as adding suppliers, creating requisitions, reallocating and substantiating credit cards, and creating expense reports.
- Assist with event planning and coordination through tasks such as space reservations, catering orders, and printing of materials.
- Provide general administrative support such as booking travel, scheduling meetings, and distributing meeting minutes.
- Participate in continuous departmental process improvements.
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Uphold University mission through work peformed.

Excellent communication (writing and oral) skills; ability to work in a collaborative environment; detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at one time; knowledge of institutional organization, policies, goals, and mission. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
