In this position, you will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced journeyman while working to construct and maintain electric utility lines. A typical work day at BMU may include any of the following:

- Installing and maintaining underground distribution system (BMU has a 95% underground distribution system).

- Installing and maintaining street light poles and wire.

- Building and maintaining distribution substations.

- Maintaining work equipment.

- Fault locating and repair of conductors.

- Operation of construction equipment.

**Wage: $18.73/hour

Hours: Typically, Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
