Description Job Summary: This long-term temporary position is responsible for the creation and implementation of lead generating marketing campaigns to promote IEEE digital subscription products a. Following the strategy developed by the Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager , this position must generate demand for IEEE products by developing high impact lead generation and social media programs to help IEEE meet revenue goals. It coordinates the complete campaign cycle including concept, copy development, design, list development, scheduling, deployment and eventually reporting on results. This role reports to the Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager. This position is full-time, with a possibility of hybrid remote work arrangements (telecommuting multiple days a week).
Key Responsibilities: Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Campaign development and deployment (under guidance of Demand Gen team). Includes monthly leadgen template campaigns, product promotions, webinar invitations, tradeshow campaigns, and more
- Proofreading and copy writing
- Social media promotions (organic and paid promotion) and reporting
- List management: List pulling, development and clean-up
- Digital Advertising: ad development and placement
- CRM database maintenance
- Lead Management: Coordinate leads and route to appropriate representatives for follow-up
- Cleanup and importing of tradeshow leads
- Website maintenance including product page updates, blogs, web forms and registration forms
- Assist with QA of marketing sites
- Launching and updating campaign project requests
- Manage and update Marketing Calendar and Media plan
- Pull monthly reports and monitor analytic dashboards
- Complete other ad hoc special projects as requested by manager
Qualifications Education and Experience: - The ideal candidate for this position is proactive and able to work well both independently and within a team in a continually changing environment.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, other related business field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years experience developing skills outlined above, preferably in a B2B marketing or sales environment.
- Experience with Email marketing and email campaign software a must. Marketing automation tool experience such as Marketo preferred
- Copywriting/proofreading experience
- Strong attention to detail required
- Experience with CRM/ Salesforce.com preferred
- Knowledge of HTML and Wordpress a plus
- Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords
- Experience with Tableau desirable
- Social media marketing experience very desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
