TSC's is seeking an
Temporary Electronics Technician II located in our
Huntsville, AL to support our production division.
Responsibilities: Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the testing, analysis and evaluation of materials and processes. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Analyzes technical data to determine applicability to design problems; selects from several possible design layouts; calculates design data; and prepares layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Required Qualifications:- Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and/or 3-5 years of production and/or assembly experience
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
- Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
- Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers and peer engineers
