Job Description :
The City of Newport is seeking two (2) professional and dedicated individuals to fill two (2) temporary assignments in the Finance Department. The individuals will perform a variety of accounting and clerical tasks primarily related to cash collections and the administration of business licenses. They will also provide reception services for the city Finance Department. Perform administrative functions for the municipal court. Provides administrative support to the Finance Director and Finance Department as needed. This is a part-time (29 hours/week) limited duration temporary assignment. The assignment is anticipated to last between 3-6 months. Perform a variety of accounting and clerical tasks primarily related to cash collections and the administration of business licenses.
