Position Information Hiring Manager: Associate Director, Creative Services Department: Marketing Position Responsibilities The Marketing Department seeks a Temporary Graphic Designer who brings a diverse skill set that can contribute to a side variety of design projects. The candidate is required to have previous corporate design experience and a proven ability to compile messaging, content and detailed data into polished materials. The ideal candidate will have a modern, clean design aesthetic, a trained eye, attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design high quality print and digital assets that are consistent with the Firm's brand such as: pitch books, ads, presentations, logos, invitations, signage and custom packaging
  • Collaborate directly with Marketing teammates to stylize and update financial product assets that are appropriately targeted to several distinct audiences
  • Manage all aspects of the creation of materials from conceptual stage through completion (including mechanical creation and approval of vendor proofs for printed materials)
  • Proofread work for accuracy (typing, layout, data consistency and format)
  • Revise, convert and optimize materials for digital applications (including banner ads and animated gifs)
  • Liaise with fellow creatives and project managers to develop assets that are engaging and relevant to each audience
  • Contribute to brand refinement by updating corporate guidelines and templates, while establishing best practices
Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably with a major in Graphic Design or related discipline
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Confident design perspective and a keen visual eye with interest in expanding personal creative and technical skill sets
  • Strong proficiency of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to design visually dynamic graphs, charts, infographics and other elements for presentations, collaborating with fellow team members to ensure consistency of brand
  • Experience designing and reviewing work for quality on both PC and Mac platforms
  • Ability and willingness to make your design ideas work within MS Office Suite and on a PC
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines efficiently, while managing changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Organized and thorough with exemplary follow up and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, Eloqua (or other email marketing software) and Wrike (or other project management software) preferred

Compensation and Benefits For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be . Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered.
