Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm - possible Saturdays

Position Summary:Oversees the planning, development, and execution of the Eagle Investor Program, which empowers underserved high school students by providing entrepreneurship education, business skills, and exposure to the innovation ecosystem. This position will acquire additional populations served by GWH over the next five (5) years, i.e., youth and young adults (ages 18 to 24), veterans, and justice-impacted individuals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Program Development and Management: - Collaborate with the Sr. Director of WFD with designing, developing, and implementing the programs that align with Eagle Investor Academy's vision and strategy with GWH's service delivery and compliance requirements.
- Establish program goals, objectives, and benchmarks to measure success.
Data Management and Reporting: - Collect, analyze, and report on program data recorded in the data management system (Caseworthy).
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of target outcomes,
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and funders.
- Utilize data to inform program improvements and strategic planning efforts.
Performance Monitoring and Team Support: - Monitor and evaluate program performance; provide coaching and support to team members to help them achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and service delivery goals.
Event Planning and Coordinating: - Develop a calendar of events for the Eagle Investors program, in collaboration with participating schools.
- Coordinate five (5) to six (6) Saturday events throughout the school year.
- Organize and facilitate the Capstone Event, including the Rice Business Plan Competition, and identify alternative events for younger students.
Event Logistics: - Manage Logistics: Secure venues, arrange speakers for each event, coordinate catering, etc.
- Develop detailed event agendas and run-of-show schedules.
- The content for each session must be current, engaging, and relevant, including topics such as innovation, financial literacy, and professionalism.
- Collaborate with faculty to register students, obtain signed waivers and photo releases, and ensure all event logistics are in place.
Content Development and Instruction: - Regularly update program content to keep it fresh and engaging, including graphics, videos, and event slide decks.
- Create interactive activities, such as student-led discussions and games, to encourage active participation.
- Master content presentation skills and delivery to ensure effective and engaging communication.
Student Supplies and Professional Development: - Manage supply orders, such as business cards and polo shirts for active participants.
- Coordinate professional attire for students attending pitch competitions, including business shirts, slacks, blouses, ties, and blazers.
Fundraising and Sponsor Relations: - Reach out to corporate donors and other potential sponsors, crafting compelling value propositions to support the program.
- Coordinate special events for top sponsors, such as exclusive invites to the Rice Business Plan Competition.
Volunteer Management: - Recruit, communicate with, and manage volunteers to support the program.
Child Protection: - Ensure child protection best practices are followed and compliance standards are met at all times.
Technology and Social Media: - To support program operations and communications, utilize PowerPoint, databases, social media, etc.
Compliance and Accreditation - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in program audits, reviews, and evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Responsibilities: - Demonstrates professionalism, and good judgment and presents a friendly, cooperative attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, adapt to change, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Ensures all data reports, funding applications, and other administrative documents are reviewed and edited before submission for approval.
- Ability to interpret, explain and apply principles of employment and training administration.
- Adheres to all GWH Policies & Procedures, Loss Prevention & Safety Regulations, and GWH Guiding Principles.
- Must be punctual and have dependable attendance and maintain an appropriate appearance.
- Must safely conduct work, maintain good housekeeping standards, have all aisles and pathways to fire exits clear and free from clutter, and keep work areas neat and clean.
- Travel to various locations for program activities.
- Adheres to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in coordinating programs or a similar field.
- Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of grammar usage, letter writing skills, and proofreading.
- Must be able to demonstrate proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to get multi-sector stakeholders to work together.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Enthusiasm for the organization's mission.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Meet or exceed established outputs, outcomes, and goals for the (calendar/fiscal) year. Ensure data utilization and accuracy of 90% or higher by conducting regular audits of CaseWorthy reporting. Ensure case notes and documents are updated within 24 hours of services or information received. Ensure data reports, funding applications, and administrative documents are reviewed before submission for approval. Execution of WFD Programs as assigned.Physical Requirements/Work Environment: - Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, up to, 25 lbs.
