Job Summary

This full-time role carries dual responsibilities as a Terminal Handler and Route Collections:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Terminal Handler Duties

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and service video gaming terminals (VGTs) and related gaming equipment to ensure functionality.
• Perform basic repairs as needed and comply with Illinois Gaming Board regulations and licensing requirements.

Route Collection Duties

• Collect and deliver cash cassettes and canisters from VGTs and RTs at customer locations per assigned route schedules.
• Complete required paperwork to document access to terminals and the transfer of monetary containers and company property.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols, remaining vigilant to prevent loss or mishandling of cash and to detect security breaches.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Illinois Gaming Board filing and licensing requirements (assistance with the licensing process provided).
• Maintain confidentiality in all transactions and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications

• Licensing: Must be licensed (or eligible for licensing) by the Illinois Gaming Board as a Terminal Handler.
• Drivers License: Valid license with a good driving record.
• Age: 21 years or older.
• Skills: Organized, with the ability to meet daily deadlines, multitask effectively, and manage time efficiently.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to complete tasks accurately and responsibly.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Comfortable using portable electronic devices (cell phones, tablets) and various applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Accurate cash handling and counting skills.
• Physical dexterity to perform technical tasks and ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Relatively clean driving record required.

• Ability to stand, sit, or drive for extended periods.
• Physical dexterity to handle tools and gaming equipment.
