Description:
The Terminal Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of their respective terminal. This role is responsible for managing our client's fleet of vehicles including facilitating maintenance and repair transportation and scheduling, electric vehicle state of charge management, and coordinating inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and Reindeer employees for final mile delivery. The Terminal Manager will also manage a staff of 2-4 employees. All job duties must be performed in a way that promotes safe practices in accordance with our client's established safety programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Detailed daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage day to day operations of terminal facility and all vehicles in possession of Reindeer.
• Provide direction and supervision to dispatchers, customer service representatives, and carriers by delegating workload, measuring performance, and maintaining appropriate staff levels through recruitment, selection, and retention activities.
• Coordinate fleet dispatch needs with the Fleet and Core departments.
• Manage high-level customer accounts that require a significant level of operational attention.
• Promote and execute all company safety policies.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels by ensuring vehicles are maintained properly and in appropriate condition for delivery.
• Perform yard checks to ensure vehicles are entered correctly into transportation management systems.
• Manage work schedules including coverage for holidays, sick days, etc. for terminal staff.
• Enhance employee performance through coaching, mentoring and documentation.
• Lead team with strong work ethic & integrity.
• Fill-in for other business needs, as warranted.
• Monitor and Manage KPI's for state of charge, on-time pickup, on-time delivery, etc.

EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years management or supply chain experience
• 3+ years in operations
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly changing business demands
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Walking and standing for up to 8 hours per day. Working outside for 6-8 hours per day. Keen auditory, visual, and verbal skills. Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• MENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to prioritize multiple duties and adapt quickly to changing needs. Ability to function well under conditions of high volume with minimal supervision.
• TRAVEL: 5-15 percent
