Riello (a Carrier company) is a leading manufacturer of burners and boilers. With close to 100 years of experience in combustion technology, Riello offers an innovative product portfolio backed up by service offering delivered by a network of world-class industry experts.

We are seeking a high energy, motivated Territory Sales Manager for the New England territory to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers.

This position will be responsible for the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs to achieve Riello sales goals within the Northeast USA market.

This role may be located anywhere in the New England Territory, working remotely. Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity to a major airport.

Role Responsibilities
  • Identifies prospects and establishes a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer's needs.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop territory business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide product training to both customers and engineers in the area.
Role Purpose
  • Develop effective sales strategies.
  • Meet territory sales quotas.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of outside Sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Engineered Systems sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Time Management Skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools/pipeline management.
  • Knowledgeable about HVAC commercial products – with focus on heating equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of market dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors' programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills and customer focus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Advanced skills with modern technology used for business management.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance of field sales operations.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy.
  • Team player and must be able to sell on factors other than price.
  • Take on new challenges daily, problem solving ability is key.
  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Experience with ERM systems (preferably SAP).
Pay Range

$74,181 - $130,206 Annually
