Role Description Position Objective: Territory Sales Representative (TSR) - Will deliver an assigned number of weekly/quarterly face to face sales calls to assigned HCP Targets. The TSR will serve as representative of LEO to augment existing sales efforts, in established sales territories staffed by a Therapeutic Sales Specialist. This person will be the co-responsible representative for their assigned customer list in addition to the TSS who is the primary accountable party. The TSR is accountable for maximizing product sales, and contributing toward the LEO vision of becoming the #1 Medical Dermatology Company in the US. Additional objective is to learn, develop, and affect an impact on product performance in the hopes of transitioning to a Therapeutic Sales Specialist role at LEO Pharma. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and builds relationships with territory accounts utilizing telephone selling or other communication tools to provide clinical information, product features and benefits and patient access information.
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems and may arrange for shipment of product samples and promotional materials.
  • Conducts analysis of customer lists, presents findings to sales leadership and identifies ways to optimize the white space program.
  • Understands and adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and LEO policies, including but not limited to PhRMA code, OIG regulations, and PDMA policies and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned by LEO Pharma Management
Key Working Relationships:
  • External: Healthcare practitioners/office staff
  • Internal: Work closely with overlapping/adjacent Therapeutic Sales Specialists, Regional Business Manager, other matrix colleagues (ex/ FRM, PAE), and Marketing, Medical, Sales Operations/Training, Compliance
Requirements:
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. OR • Bachelor's Degree required; sales/marketing or science related degree preferred
  • Experience in sales/marketing or science related field;
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience preferred;
  • Proven, documented record of success in previous academic or professional area such as sales persuasiveness and sales impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong, enthusiastic presentation and closing skills; ability to interact with employees at all organization levels;
  • Strong planning, organizational and computer skills;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from various reports;
  • Familiarity with sales reporting software preferred;
  • Proven organizational skills and time management
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence; must possess and maintain satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to travel; some nights, weekends and overnight travel as required
