We invite you to step into our world and EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS WITH US! POSITION SUMMARY: Tarkett has an exciting new opportunity for a Territory Sales Representative (TSR). The Territory Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of the organization's products and/or services. The TSR will become familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The TSR will perform a variety of complicated tasks, may direct and lead the work of others, and typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A successful Territory Sales Representative will have a wide degree of creativity and latitude. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Work closely with Regional Business Manager and Distribution to achieve annual/quarterly sales budgets, market share, gross margin and key account growth targets • Generate pull-through demand in local market place, primarily by focusing on selling activities in retail flooring stores, including Product Training, Display Placement, Merchandise Updates and Sales Performance reviews with store management • Create and sell territory specific promotions and merchandising programs • Execute sales blitzes and product launches • Develop Territory account list prioritized by volume including Key Accounts, and Buying Groups • Provide weekly sales and market updates for Regional Business Manager, including competitive activity, product trends, promotional activity and progress toward KPIs • Conduct regular product training sessions for Distributor Sales Reps and Retail Store Associates • Create productive, effective and mutually satisfactory long-term business relationships with Distributor Sales Representatives • Participate in Distributor and Retailer sales and marketing events • Represent Tarkett in a professional manner when engaging retailers, distributors or consumers • Attention to Personal Development Plan REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements) • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 4+ years sales experience • Overnight travel is required (up to 25%) What We Offer
