The SI Test Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of various electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and automation systems. This role involves final component and system testing, as well as supporting maintenance for integrated analytical measurement systems. To succeed in this role, you should have strong electrical and mechanical skills, be electro-mechanically inclined, self-guided, and possess a strong work ethic. The ability to work effectively within a team and thrive in a fast-paced production environment is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sample conditioning systems, gas chromatographs, analyzers, and related equipment.

* Maintain electrical power circuits and power distribution, including high voltage. Conduct witness tests, compile results, and lead troubleshooting efforts.

* Provide guidance and mentoring for other technicians; assist with training new hires.

* Maintain organized records of maintenance, repairs, and test results.

* Enforce safety procedures and maintain 5S standards throughout the facility.

Education and Skills Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of relevant work , or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work.

* Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

* Ability to work overtime and adjust to a flexible schedule.

* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with an eye for detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and stand or sit for long periods.

Preferred Experience:

* Experience using tools and equipment such as manual/power tools, testing devices, and control systems.

* Knowledge of gas processing fundamentals, instrumentation, and electronics.

* Familiarity with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.

* Ability to work safely with flammable gases, high-pressure systems, and electrical components.

Physical and Working Conditions:

* Regular activities include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and handling objects.

* Work in well-lit, climate-controlled areas, as well as outdoor conditions with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and potential electric shock.
