Test Technician - INNOVA : Job Details

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Test Technician.Position Type: Full-Time ContractDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Mckinney, TXShift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM)As a Test Technician, you will:Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power toolsThe ideal candidate will have:Clearance Required: Active Secret ClearanceRequired Skills:Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.Preferred Skills:Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assetsRelated experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.Education:Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years relevant experienceQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
