You will work with more complex enterprise equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Main Accountabilities:
- Proficient in testing various types of Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, and PDUs.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Troubleshoot high and low power systems.
- Advanced proficiency in testing and troubleshooting electronics.
- Experience with High Power 600V-208V 3-phase applications.
- Familiarity with PCBA programming.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and collaborate with Quality/Process and Engineering Departments.
- Maintain 6S standards and a safe work area.
- Report issues with schematics, drawings, etc.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Support production teams with manufacturing issues.
- Take initiative in completing assigned tasks while keeping supervisors informed of progress.
- Potential for some management responsibilities, decision-making, and policy/procedure management with supervisor guidance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics, with a preference for 3-phase high-power applications.
- 2+ years in a Test Lab or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Thorough understanding of electrical/electronic technology.
- Ability to read and understand engineering documentation (blueprints, wire schematics, drawings, component specifications, and ECNs).
- Troubleshoot to the board level.
- Proficient in setting up and using electronic test equipment.
- Experience in constructing and maintaining test equipment.
- Strong verbal and written English language skills, with experience in witness testing.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, HyperTerminal, etc.).
- Proficient in using power meters and oscilloscopes.
- Able to understand transformer voltage, current, and power calculations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of problem-solving ability.
- Proven team player with effective interpersonal skills.
- Lean manufacturing background (5S, Kaizen, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis).
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Proficient in harnessing and wiring.
