You will ideally have experience working as a data-focused Technical Test Analyst or Test Engineer within a Consultancy Firm or Solutions Vendor to the Finance Sector. Description NextWave are looking for a Technical Test Analyst specialising in data assurance with experience in Asset Management, Banking & Wealth Management. This role will utilise best practice test engineering techniques including advanced test design, coverage monitoring, test automation, and continuous integration. A strong track record of delivering complex data assurance projects from start to finish is also required. This career opportunity is open to both of our locations across the U.S., including New York, NY and Tampa, FL. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges, gather technical requirements and deliver best-fit technical solutions.
• Own the quality and timely delivery of test work packages within a software project activity, such as a release, sprint or functional area - including the preparation and execution of testing activities.
• Utilise technical skillset to provide best-fit data assurance frameworks (including multi-tool, multi-platform, API, relational and non-relational databases, test automation and CICD).
• Design, build and execute data-focused tests to provide demonstrable and appropriate test coverage and traceability.
• Profile data and analyze results (including source to target extraction/comparison), and propose solutions for test accelerators and enhancements.
• Identify, log and resolve defects.
• Work with environment management teams to provision and refresh reference and transactional test data.
• Maintain quality assurance standards and tools to conform to test strategies.
• Produce documentation, or run collaborative review sessions, to communicate important information as needed.
• Work closely with product development teams for continuous improvement in software quality.

Candidate Profile

• Seasoned Technical Test Analyst, ideally capital-markets background.
• Tooling:
  • Essential: Python, SQL, NoSQL, XML, JSON, Postman/API/Rest Assured
  • Nice to have: Microsoft ADO, FpML, Fix Protocol, Swift, MQ Series or similar, Excel/VBA
• Experience of Order Management Systems, Trade Lifecycle and FS-specific data management systems such as Markit EDM and Eagle Pace (Nice to have).
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Ability to work in Waterfall and Agile environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Excellent attention to detail.

The salary range for this role is between $75,000 - $120,000. NextWave anticipates accepting applications for this position through June 1, 2024.
