As an employee of this highly energetic and student-oriented center, you will provide testing accommodation support to current students within ARC. The Testing Accommodations Coordinator provides direct support to individuals with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Administers and oversees tests according to strict guidelines andstandards, distributes test materials, and monitors the conduct of examinees.•Collects and analyzes data; schedules exams/quizzes for students. maintains records and documentation, coordinates information required for program operations.•Prepares and organizes testing materials in accordance with individual testing requirements and with established testing protocol and guidelines.•Assist in the enforcement of test security policies and procedure before, during and after testing.•Communicates with faculty, staff, other departments to ensure the exams/quizzes are administered to their preference.•Coordinate Testing stations.•Prepares test material for delivery; verifies accuracy of test materials and prepares all associated documentation.•Ensures that proctors are performing adequately and assists in the development and delivery of training of testing staff; conducts periodic group training sessions for new testing staff, as required.•Provides general administrative assistance, to include answering phone inquiriesand assistance to walk-in students.•Supervises and trains student employees.•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of EmploymentMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications•Attention to detail, organizing and coordinating skills.•Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.•Ability to complete moderately complex administrative paperwork.•Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Additional RequirementsCampusMain - Albuquerque, NMDepartmentAccessibility Resource Center (719A)Employment TypeStaffStaff TypeTerm - Full-TimeTerm End Date06/30/2026StatusNon-ExemptPayHourly: $18.81 - $25.56Benefits EligibleThis is a benefits eligible position.
