Testing Specialist Hybrid bout the Job

• Duration: Long Term Renewable Contract (possibility of extension)
• Location: - Onsite (4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week) Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:

• Need a strong project manager who is well organize and can steer a team of people in setting up, performing, and completing testing. This person will spend the first half with the business to identify test cases needed and if they are up to date.
• Need to be able to track project milestones and report to Initiative leads and team on daily and weekly summaries.
• Creating Test Plans.
• Review Testing Requirements with Business Team.
• Creating and Mapping of Testing Requirements in Xray.
• Creating of Test Case in Xray Test Plan.
• Creating Project Test Lab in Xray with information of responsible tester in conjunction with Project Lead.
• Working with Project Lead to develop appropriate test strategies.
• Ensuring Testing Integrity [Audit Trail] & Answer all AL/Xray Questions.
• Publishing testing progress and Defect status reports to respective team members and Stake Holders.
• Conducting Defect triage meeting during test execution.
• Scheduling and Conducting testing as per three eye principle.
• Reviewing AS-IS and Creating TO-BE Business Process Models using ARIS Modelling Tool.
• Developed MS Excel Marco reports to extract data from ALM/Xray.
• Need to coordinate with off-shore teams and subject matter experts
• ssist with test environment and data management.
• Coordinates test strategy, test planning and all testing deliverables using Agile methodology/iterative processes.
• Identifies and manages test risks.
• Conducts and coordinates UAT meetings with business users to identify cross functional integrated scenarios.
• Defines and updates the project specific test plan. Ensures availability and quality of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Plans and controls the creation of functional and non-functional test cases.
• Coordinates and identifies test data sets for IT testing and UAT.
• Conducts meetings with project team members to answer testing questions.
• Conducts and communicates daily status/defect meetings. Ensures training of the persons involved in testing.
• Sets up the test management tool.
• Works closely with Release Management team on Go, No-Go status before the quarterly release.
• Keeps all stakeholders informed on testing activities through a structured process and need-toknow basis.
• Conducts test training to technical and business users as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or the equivalent of 4 years of additional professional experience in an IT application.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience using a variety of languages and technologies preferred (preferably Jira Xray, Mercury's WinRunner® LoadRunner ®, & Quality Center®, Expert Level WinRunner®6.0 - 7.6, Test Director®6.0- 8.0, Test Director Administration, C++, JAVA, HTML, JSP, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, UNIX/LINUX).
• 3 + years of experience planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, documenting and/or training in a variety of SAP areas (preferably HR, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics).
• 3+ years of experience in Test Management.
• 3+ years experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
• 3+ years experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Training in systems used in assigned area of responsibility (Jira and SAP preferred).
• Training in test management and project management (preferred).
• 3+ years of functional knowledge in systems in area of responsibility such as SAP R/3 related modules or production systems.
• 3+ years of experience executing and communicating project plans.
• 3+ years of knowledge of the Systems Development
• Life Cycle. 3+ years of knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, Internet Technologies, etc.
• 1+ years of experience communicating ideas in both technical and user friendly language.

Must Have:

• Need to be familiar with using automated testing. Xray is required
• Need to have experience interacting with the business.
• Test planning and leading execution of formal test plans is required.

Nice to have:

• LM experience preferred, Agile working model is preferred, SAP experience would be preferred as well. Client ALM reporting experience would be preferred.
• candidate that has a passport is a nice to have as they may need to travel to Mexico.

WFH Flexibility : - Management discretion 80% Onsite and 20 % Remote Travel Requirement : - Travel may be required regionally with the team in Woodcliff Lake, NJ and/or Mexico. These requirements will, however, only be executed in a need-by-need basis.

• Scope: Ensures the timely and complete execution of all test related activities, both in projects and maintenance. Plans, controls, estimates, monitors and reports all test activities during all project phases.
