seeks an accomplished leader to serve as the inaugural Chief of Infectious Disease. This individual will report directly to the Chair of Internal Medicine and will be responsible for developing a nationally recognized division of infectious disease and integrate the diverse clinical and research activities The candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
- Board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Disease
- A successful track record and national reputation as an academic leader in infectious disease as demonstrated by scholarly achievement and should currently be at the Professor or Associate Professor rank.
- A commitment to developing the division through the expansion of clinical and research programs and the recruitment of additional faculty.
- A commitment to the education and training of medical students, graduate students and residents.
- A commitment to support efforts to promote a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Division of Infectious Disease
