The EDGE Consortium – a coalition of universities and engineering schools founded by women presidents and deans of engineering committed to expanding the engineering and technology workforce – is seeking nominations and expressions of interest for an inaugural Executive Director. This is a key position to achieve an audacious goal of doubling the semiconductor workforce. Success can only be achieved by drawing upon the full talent of our nation and significantly increasing opportunities for those who have been traditionally underrepresented in STEM.

To build on its early momentum, EDGE will need dedicated, imaginative, and innovative leadership. Key responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership and management experience as well as the ability to guide, manage, direct, and execute, with the drive to build on the program's early accomplishments and continue to advance an ambitious program of national impact. They must be comfortable with a co-governance structure and possess a strong track record of accomplishment.
