As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you will be responsible for implementing activities in support of the institutional goal of helping each client reach their full potential. If you are a hard-working, enthusiastic, compassionate, and caring individual, dedicated to providing exceptional care, we need you on our team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Therapeutic Activities Aide, your work will be focused on implementing therapeutic activities for assigned clients. This includes physical, vocational, self-help, audio-visual, personal hygiene, grooming, and social activities, as well as environmental excursions and community training. You will have the opportunity to interact with the clients on an individual or group basis, carrying out program plans, encouraging client participation, as well as directing and assisting clients in these activities so that each client may derive the maximum individual benefits from participation. Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work schedule may change based on operational needs.Overtime and travel may be required, as needed.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee (commonwealth title); orSix months of work experience providing care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
