ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans and provide individual, family and group therapy to agency clients. Serve as a clinical advocate for clients. Document and report progress in treatment. ORGANIZING AND COORDINATING Screening/Intake
Assist with the retrieval of necessary documentation for participant enrollment into the program.Attend participant orientations to familiarize themselves with participants' interaction with family members.Develop goals and treatment plans with the individual participant and guardians.Meet with the participants on a weekly basis regularly.Establish good communication skills with the supervisor.Communicate with parents/guardians regularly.Demonstrate the ability to document clinical notes/reports.Must have a master degree in counseling/psychology and has LCP license.Clean DCFS background check. Use pre assessment and on ongoing assessment tools to monitor the progress and goals that were instituted for each client. Monitor and maintain individual participant clinical files and report needed adjustments to Supervisor Monitor client progress of each week and document progress on progress notes Revaluate treatment process each month and report any findings to supervisor.Direct Service
Develop and implement treatments plans for each client. Prepare and forward reports to clinical director. Build a therapeutic relationship with client. Effectively complete client clinical progress notes and submit them in a timely fashion. Attend program meetings. Available to attend required additional trainings and staffing. Provide15-20 hours of direct client contact services per week (in-home and in-office) . Provide clinical counseling and other clinically related services to a client caseload of 15. Conduct clinical assessments Develop clinically appropriate treatment plans and goals based on client needs Provide linkage to auxiliary clinical services and monitor thru follow-up Facilitate/Conduct in-house clinical staffing. Attend all meetings surrounding clinical matters including but not limited to PRT's, psychiatric hospitalization staffing. Complete all paperwork surrounding Psychiatric Hospitalization and provide and monitor follow-up care Write thorough clinical progress notes Provide and/or assist with providing clinical trainings Ensure all HIPAA Policy and Standards are implemented and adhered to Familiar with DSM IV Must be able to conduct and draft mental health assessments All other duties as assigned. Assist with conducting comprehensive intake assessments Co-facilitate intake interviews Complete Risk Management and Wrap Plans according to intake assessment and client interview Attend intake clinical staffing. Participate in participant 90-day Reviews and Discharge Plan Meetings Facilitate client related life skills trainings Conduct support groups. May be required to transport clients. Must have 10 CEU for the year.QUALIFICATIONS Education: Candidates will have a Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology with at least 1 year of counseling experience.Experience: All candidates must have at least 2 years working in child welfare.Credentials: Must have LPC license with in 1 year of employment, valid driver`s license, car insurance and a valid first aid and CPR card.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
