Job Description :

Join our dedicated therapy team as a Therapy Team Supervisor, where you will play a critical role in assisting the Director of Therapy Operations with daily management and oversight of therapy services. This position requires strong supervisory capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment within your licensed discipline. You will actively engage in delivering patient care while also leading and mentoring your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate and supervise tasks performed by therapist assistants and technicians.
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, orientation, training, and communications to ensure patient treatment coverage.
  • Maintain proactive communication with hospital departments to prioritize the needs of patients, staff, and the facility.
  • Foster an environment that aligns with our mission, encouraging staff accountability and performance improvement.
  • Guide staff in enhancing their clinical skills through development and mentoring opportunities.

Qualifications:

License or Certification:

  • Current state license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • If applicable, successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of discipline-specific or leadership experience, with at least two years in a clinical setting.
  • Preferred: Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or hold a specialty professional certification.

In this role, you will utilize general office equipment and Microsoft Office software. You must also be capable of lifting at least 30 pounds, performing duties that involve moving and repositioning patients, and may be exposed to blood and body fluids.
