A facility is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

A thoracic surgeon is needed to provide expert care focused on lung cancer, thoracic esophagus diseases, pleural conditions, complicated pneumothorax, and pneumonia-related infections. The position requires 24-hour call coverage and a weekly clinic on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. Responsibilities include emergency consultations, outpatient services, and performing both elective and emergency surgical procedures, with at least one morning per week dedicated to surgeries. The hospital has 338 beds, is designated as a Level 2 trauma center, and utilizes the Epic EMR system.
