Job Description :
The New England Knockouts are a professional baseball team providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment in the Frontier League, a Major League Baseball Partner League. The Knockouts play their home games at the 4,700-capacity Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, MA; located 45-minutes south of Boston. Playing a 96-game schedule; the Frontier League expanded from 16 to 18-teams for the 2025 season and has presence in and around several major markets in the eastern, central and southern United States as well as Canada.Job Summary: The New England Knockouts are seeking a passionate, outgoing and self-motivated individual to lead the team's ticket sales revenue generation efforts while cultivating new and existing relationships to achieve personal and department sales goals.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • The Ticket Sales Manager will drive ticket revenue by developing and managing relationships with businesses, organizations and individuals in the local and surrounding communities.
  • The Ticket Sales Manager will have a critical role in implementing strategies that maximize game attendance, expand evenue opportunities and surpass department goals.
  • Work with the President / General Manager to help manage ticket operations.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to plan and execute group outings and promotional experiences.
  • Ensure smooth group experiences.
  • Lead, mentor and guide ticket sales account executives; helping them achieve sales goals.
  • Contribute to sales meetings and develop new sales strategies as well as group promotions.
  • Sales of team inventory including season tickets, mini-plans, hospitality and group events.
  • Generate sales through cold calling, networking, appointment setting, and other means.
  • Work with others on the sales team to help generate new leads and research new ways to sell ticket inventory.
  • Attend various community events to help promote th Knockouts brand.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all personal accounts before, during, and after the sales effort.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Previous ticket sales experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strategic selling skills with a relationship-based selling approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a stressful environment.
  • Poise with the ability to effectively present information and negotiate with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and a great attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and CRM.
