Assist the Senior Resource Forester in all activities associated with the management of a Resource Unit. The salary range for this position is $54,439.05-$90,731.75. This position is bonus eligible, with a target value of 10% of salary. Financial Management: Provides stand or project level information in the preparation of the annual operating budget including contracted services, expensed program and capital programs. Track performance and expenditures compared with budgets and objectives on assigned activities. Provide support information to develop financial and volume projections for harvesting and silviculture on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis. Adapts site specific plans as necessary to achieve desirable results. Communicate deviation from projected performances. Developing the ability to incorporate financial considerations in the decision-making process to affect key business drivers.
