Job DescriptionAbout The RoleAssists in verifying, classifying, and recording vendor invoices to the Accounts Payable Subsidiary Ledger. Processes the weekly check runs with attention to discounts. Review trailer work orders and maintains labor costing.Responsibilities
  • Performs closeouts on production and trailer jobs. Audits and codes production jobs in the production journal. Enters trailer jobs into the unit's file.
  • Reviews and is responsible for final posting of labor reporting.
  • Verifies receipt and accuracy of supplier invoices and record to Accounts Payable ledger. Records ledger account and standard cost entries on all payable invoices.
  • Prepares weekly vendor check disbursements and monthly journal entries as needed.
  • Assists in the P-Card process.
  • Inputs trailer labor information into the labor history file.
  • Maintains AP files as needed.
  • Additional tasks as require.
Candidate RequirementsMinimum of 2 years post high school education or 3-5 years' experience in accounting field, along with MS office applications computer experience. Must be efficient and accurate in data management and possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision while Analyzing data, problem solving and math skills. A high desire to achieve, confidentiality regarding sensitive payroll information, dependable, honest and attention to detail also required.
