Join the dynamic team at Pace Industries, as the Tool Crib Attendant for our Harrison, Arkansas location. We are seeking someone who is organized and able to order items through the system. The successful candidate will maintain the crib in a clean and orderly manner, daily receiving, shipping as required, filling as required, stocking of safety supplies on the shop floor and more. The role reports to the Materials Manager. Key Responsibilities:

• Check-out/check-in tools for machines to machinists.
• Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• Orders tooling.
• Checks pricing and availability of requested material from a number of sources.
• Purchases all shop supplies (i.e. oils, abrasives, coolant, etc.) using PO.
• Put tooling, fixtures and catalog tools away.
• Kit and tool up jobs as instructed.
• Pre-set jobs as instructed.
• Maintain company Safety Data Sheet program.
• Communicate, support and reinforce the values of the organization professionally.
• Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team or independently on a regular basis.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have a general knowledge of the machining industry and tooling.
• Must be able to stand, push, pull, reach and bend to the floor
• Must be able to push up to 75 lbs. occasionally
