Job Summary & RequirementsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains a safe and clean working environment while providing optimum quality. Reviews production schedule/reports of the department and ensures objectives are ascertained. Communicates quality, material and other department issues to managers/supervision by performing the following duties.
  • Ensures all shop machinery and equipment are in proper working condition.
  • Evaluates, monitors and maintains stores and tooling so the optimum production performance is achieved.
  • Maintains proper documentation of all parts/tooling.
  • Assists in changeovers and setups on the production line as needed.
  • Maintains tooling in a state of quality/readiness for upcoming changeovers.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance on tooling and shop machinery.
  • Identifies and promptly reports equipment malfunction, material, and safety and quality issues to supervisor.
  • Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing Environment
  • Previous Tube Manufacturing experience
