Job Title: Tooling Supervisor

Overview:We are seeking a Tooling Supervisor with experience in manufacturing, preferrably with metals (chrome & steel preferred). The role involves overseeing tooling maintenance, managing tooling personnel, and improving tooling processes. This position requires a strong technical background, the ability to manage vendors, and familiarity with automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise tooling personnel, manage schedules, performance, and safety.
• Oversee the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of tooling equipment and area.
• Manage tooling inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs and parts.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and implement digital tools for documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling performance issues in collaboration with production teams.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

• Manufacturing experience, with a preference for metals (chrome & steel).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience or aptitude for automation systems (Ultimo or similar software).
• Experience supervising union employees.
• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in Excel and Office software.
• Bilingual Spanish a big plus
