Insight Global is seeking a qualified Top Secret Navy Qualified Validator in support of one of are large federal clients in Moorestown, NJ. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for assisting the cyber workforce and completing final validation for the operation system before being sent to the government customer. This candidate will be running through the engineering check list to ensure the control requirements are met to standards and or lessen in risk to ensure it is accepted by the customer. Their day to day will include but is not limited to: C&A and Security Testing: Provide support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Security Test and Evaluation of IT components, including systems, networks, circuits, hardware, and software. Innovation and Documentation: Explore, recommend, and document new concepts, tools, and technical methodologies to enhance Cybersecurity (CS) solutions. Communication: Prepare white papers and presentation materials to articulate solutions to CS challenges. Security Accreditation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of security accreditation documentation in line with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) policy guidelines. Best Practices: Advise and assist in implementing CS best practices for all components of the command IT solution, following customer policies and guidelines. Policy Development: Assist in the development of command-level CS policies and procedures. Liaison Support: Provide CS Subject Matter Expert (SME) liaison support between command-level CS personnel and the customer. Customer Support: Field CS-related questions from the customer, conduct necessary research to provide answers, and recommend methods to enhance Information Assurance (IA) awareness, including collaboration techniques. Guidance Analysis: Analyze new guidance to determine its impact on CS operational requirements and recommend revisions to existing CS procedures, policies, and guidance. Policy Application: Inform, interpret, and apply IA policy releases to support the maintenance of CS Standard Operating Procedures for Guidebook and SharePoint collaboration releases. Contingency Planning: Provide support for the creation and updates of Information Technology Contingency Plan (ITCP) documentation and associated annual ITCP test exercise requirements. Security Officer Role: Serve as the Alternate Information System Security Officer (AISSO) for AEGIS TECHREP.Compensation:$100k to $120k per year annual salary. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Security 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity performing IT security assessments involving system and enclave policy protections Ability to understand and implement technical vulnerability remediation based on Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Scans and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) SRR Scans. Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity and security concepts, practices, and procedures. Working knowledge of DoD Directives, including NIST 8500.1, and DISA STIG. Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Familiarity with eMASS and VRAM Active DoD Security Clearance Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the government customer.
