R10053996 Total Gas Management/Outlook Manager (Open)Location:Carson, CA - Retail shopHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Position: TGM/Outlook Operations ManagerLocation: Carson, CATarget Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 (DOE)TGM/Outlook Operations Manager supports the region's refinery sales team in order to define customer specific service work scopes based on contractual obligations and manages the implementation process for refinery accounts. The Manager of TGM/Outlook will help the Area Branch Operations Manager collectively analyze key business metrics in order to report and present findings to the AVP and Director Strategic Accounts regarding the overall stability of the core business model. A key part of the process involves overseeing refinery technicians, meeting with customers, operations, sales and overall increasing refinery sales and business while communicating the merits and features of the TGM/Outlook program.
  • Implementing and managing the Airgas Safety Management System across assigned team and customer sites with the goals of zero accidents and zero injuries
  • Managing and directing technician team to deliver committed results to the assigned TGM/Outlook customer base
  • Developing and maintaining team scheduling and team vacation time for assigned customer sites and managing SAP procedures for product ordering
  • Identify efficiencies and implement process improvements to maintain high levels of service to assigned TGM/Outlook customers
  • Responsible to grow and maintain assigned TGM/Outlook customer base. Identify and sell new contractor business as pertains to assigned refineries. Identify and sell new customer opportunities for TGM/Outlook services
  • Providing vacation coverage as needed for assigned team
  • Partner with Branch Manager to streamline order processes and ensure appropriate stock levels
  • Supervise and develop the staff through goal-setting, evaluations, positive feedback, discipline, and on-going coaching
  • Managing operating expenses of the team within annual budget parameters
  • Collaborating with Area Branch Operations Manager, AVP and Director of Strategic Accounts to deliver regular customer business reviews
  • Implementation of new TGM/Outlook product and service offers to assigned customer base, including presentations and data packages to support new offers
  • Collaboration with Area Branch Operations Manager on new hires to support TGM/Outlook site and customer expansion within assigned geographic area
  • Timely submission of all required safety, payroll and associate paperwork for assigned team
  • Additional duties required to service customer or operational requirements
Are you a MATCH?
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and/or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Broad operational knowledge of Airgas processes and product mix
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Experienced with SAP Software
  • Solid computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database programs, Google Suite)
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Team player with the ability to manage by influence
  • Collaboration and delegation skills
  • Ability to set goals, self motivate and assist others to achieve set goals
