Job Overview

The Media Tourism, Print & OOH Associate will be responsible for executing innovative National and Local media strategies specific to Tourism, Print & OOH. This role will require a deep understanding of the media landscape, retail consumer behavior, tourism trends in major DMAs and industry trends specific to retail media, direct mail and all print mediums inclusive of in-store collateral, and OOH. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to promote Macy's as a tourism destination through effective media campaigns. The goal is to drive meaningful brand awareness, customer acquisition, and store sales. This role will report to the Senior Director of Media Activation.

What You Will Do

Tourism Local Store Strategy:

* Plan, create, and execute integrated media campaigns across media channels with an emphasis on Print, Out-of-Home, strategic partnerships and grassroots media to promote tourism of Macy's locations.

* Collaborate with store marketing teams to identify local market needs and opportunities.

* Cultivate relationships with tourism boards, local government agencies, and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with broader tourism strategies

* Optimize best media channel mix geared toward individual markets and optimize media spending for maximum impact.

* Leverage local media channels to target specific demographics and geographic areas.

* Conduct market research to understand target audiences, emerging market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the tourism sector.

* Execute marketing strategies in partnership with the store's team to drive foot traffic and sales.

* Identify and segment target audiences through advanced analytics, utilizing data to craft personalized messaging and offers that resonate with our customer.

Print and Out-of-Home Channel Strategy and Execution:

* Partner with media planning, marketing strategy and creative teams to conceptualize compelling direct mail campaigns and tourism initiatives that align with our customers at multiple touchpoints.

* Optimize Print and Out-of-Home media performance, leveraging industry best practices and customer analytics to maximize ROI.

* Track and measure media performance using key metrics, analytics tools and 1P data.

* Liaise with external vendors, media partners, and agencies to ensure timely delivery and placement of marketing materials.

Project Leadership:

* Own and drive the channel partnership with strategic external partners and agencies, focused on maximizing value through paid and non-paid elements.

* Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

* Proficiency in internal tools inclusive of data entry and investment maintenance.

Skills You Will Need

* 6+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and execution.

* Proven track record of developing and executing successful local media campaigns across multiple channels and Print executions

* Strong understanding of media landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

* Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry preferred.

* Proficiency in media planning and buying tools.

* Experience with digital media.
