Reporting to the Senior Manager of Tournament Operations, the Tournament Operations Lead will assist with the operational execution and success of the Masters Tournament, both inside and outside the ropes. Positioned within the Tournament Headquarters Department, this position supports various Augusta National departments, contractors, vendors and volunteer groups. The Tournament Operations Lead also assists the Masters Tournament Foundation (MTF) with on-site planning and operational support at Augusta National for the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals and the Augusta National Women's Amateur. Like all employees at Augusta National, this position must maintain the strict confidentiality of all Club Business.
Essential Functions of the Job - Supports on-site operations of the Masters Tournament, Augusta National Women's Amateur (final round), and the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals.
- Works with the Club's Facilities & Engineering Department and required outside contractors, assisting with the coordination of ordering, and installation of temporary structures, such as observation stands, tents, trailers, restrooms, TV towers, scoreboards, standards, information boards, etc.
- Coordinates the creation of signage and ensures department standards are met. Serves as a liaison between Tournament Headquarters and other Club departments in this area.
- Coordinates parking and traffic planning around Masters Tournament, including patron and workforce parking, involvement in the overall traffic plan, routing and signage as led by the Senior Manager of Tournament Operations and the Parking & Traffic Committee.
- Leads the Tournament and Club departments in the acquisition and provision of equipment and supplies.
- Works with various stakeholders to ensure Player services and amenities are in place and operating as planned.
- Supports efforts related to course evacuation, roping/patron circulation, litter patrol, cart and rental equipment, etc.
- Manages the creation of operational documents and maps for Tournament printed materials, patrons, and internal use.
- Partakes in the process of gathering and communicating Tournament improvements among the Tournament team including Committees. Assists in Tournament improvement projects, especially those specifically listing operational challenges.
- Supports the Senior Director of the Masters Tournament and Senior Manager of Tournament Operations in the budget process and is a responsible financial steward for the Tournament.
- Supports with the administration of Appreciation Week for volunteer participants.
- Limited business and other Tournament travel required.

Qualifications: Skills/Knowledge/Attributes: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and high workloads with high attention for detail.
- Ability to solve problems independently and in conjunction with others.
- Knowledge of golf tournament operations practices and principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Publisher, Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Efficient organizational skills, creative, resourceful, and diligent in working with repetitious tasks.
Relative Experience/Education: - Bachelor's degree required.
- Two (2) - four (4) years of experience in spectator sports event management, preferably in golf.
Requited License(s): - Possess a valid driver's license and/or successfully completes the Club's internal motor vehicle training program.
Projected Work Schedule: Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and overtime as dictated by the needs of the business.
