We presently have an opportunity for a Tournament Services Coordinator for the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K. This position is primarily responsible for partnership activation and fulfillment, managing tournament volunteer program, and supporting tournament social media. Additional responsibilities include supporting year-round Foundation events, ticket operations, and tournament branding. Detailed qualifications and responsibilities are listed below.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Sports Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or Communication.
* Minimum two years prior office management experience required. Prior exposure to golf tournaments or sports event planning/operations preferred.
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience required.
Responsibilities:
Partnership Activation/Fulfillment
* Support the Partnerships Manager with the onboarding, servicing and managing of local and national partners
* Support the Director of Partnerships in creating and executing impactful, effective and measurable sponsorship platforms
* Responsible for tracking contracts, invoices and accounts receivables throughout the year
* Serve as lead on partnership asset inventory, trafficking and revenue tracking as part of overall tournament budget and forecasting
* Support in strategic planning and execution of year-round partner engagement programming
* Act as primary or secondary contact for all year-round partner communication and engagement
* Manage Honorary Observer registration, communication, and execution
Volunteer Management
* Manage and train volunteer committees while providing oversight for all committee chairs.
* Serve as primary contact for Volunteer Chair for all volunteer-related needs
* Coordinate administration of volunteer workforce, including day to day interface with volunteers and committee chairs, create volunteer manual, arrange uniform distribution, manage food and beverage, coordinate volunteer appreciation party, and host committee chair meetings as needed.
Social/Digital Media
* Develop and execute year-round social media strategy and calendar that encompasses tournament messaging, Foundation events, partnership assets and influencer content across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
* Create consistently relevant and engaging content across social media platforms
* Manage relationships and content with social media influencers
* Support Sr. Manager of Media & Partnerships with execution of media trade agreements to ensure maximum value and audience interaction
* Support Sr. Manager of Media & Partnerships with paid social media advertising campaigns
Ticket Operations Support
* Support Tournament Services Manager to act as liaison with Ticketmaster, overseeing ticketing operations for the tournament and associated tournament week events
* Help on-board and train onsite ticketing support during tournament week
* Create and manage ticketing communication with partners, club members, and all ticket buyers
Player & Celebrity Transportation & Accommodations
* Act as liaison between the tournament and HelsBriscoe to arrange preferred hotel rates at partner hotels
* Develop booking documentation to be shared with players, partners & VIP tournament guests
* Make reservations and arrange transportation for celebrities & VIP tournament guests
Other Tournament Related Responsibilities
* Support the Foundation Director with coordinating charity activations and events, including Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation events throughout the year
* Manage relationships with tournament vendors leading into and during tournament week
