TPWD - Maintenance Specialist III (Operations Ranger/Backup UPO) - Texas Parks & Wildlife Department : Job Details

Under the direction of the Assistant Park Manager and Lead Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs complex (journey-level) building maintenance and construction work and is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and repair associated with Lake Livingston State Park. Performs all phases of maintenance, cleaning, and repairs to facilities, grounds and equipment. Operates and maintains all types of equipment including hand and power tools, mowers and tractors. Performs administrative and customer service duties including purchasing supplies, materials, preparing reports and providing visitor services. Assists with patrolling park for the enforcement of park rules and regulations. Coordinates the work of hourly and volunteer workers. Serves as the Back-up Utility Plant Operator (UPO) and assists in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water utility system.
