Trades Specialist (Locksmith) - Stony Brook University : Job Details

Required Qualifications: As per Civil Service standard and specifications. Four years of full-time experience in locksmithing under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in locksmithing at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services. Candidates must be able to perform the physical tasks of the position such as bending, lifting, stretching and climbing. Must have the ability to work in confined spaces and from a ladder, scaffolding or man lift over ten feet in height. Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid NYS Driver's License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations.
